Hello! My name is Sean Kelly and I am the owner of Kelly Painting. Here is a little information on my background and why you should feel confident choosing Kelly Painting to paint your home this summer.

I began in the painting industry in 2006, when I started a summer painting business while attending the University of Washington. Each summer, my business grew and built a strong reputation for quality and professionalism. After graduating from UW, I continued to operate the painting business for several years and painted over 300 homes before electing to close down the business and move to San Diego.

In 2011, I moved to San Diego and took an outside sales job in the maintenance supply industry. As I moved up the corporate sales ladder, I took a Regional Sales Manager job that relocated me back to Washington and I most recently held the role of Director of Sales with a national HVAC distributor. My career in sales leadership was successful, but very demanding. I have always been passionate about entrepreneurship, and as my young family has grown, I decided to pursue self-employment with the goal of having more flexibility to spend time with my wife and two young kids.

Today, my wife and I own and manage three business, with Kelly Painting being our primary focus during the summer months. As an experienced painting contractor, I understand how to achieve a high quality paint job at a competitive price; and as a seasoned business professional, I understand the importance of professionalism, effective communication, and delivering on promises.

I personally conduct all estimates and am involved in every painting project. You can count on consistent communication, directly with me, and individualized attention on the needs of your paint job.
